- Nutrient (nitrogen and phosphorus compounds), chloride, silica and sulphate concentrations using Lachat Flow Injection Analysis (FIA)
- Chlorophyll concentration using U-2800 multi wavelength UV-Vis Spectrophotometer
- Total and dissolved organic carbon using Shimadzu TOC Analyzer
- Physical tests (e.g. pH, conductivity, turbidity, total suspended solid)
- Carbon, nitrogen and sulphur content in solid samples using Elementar Elemental Analyzer
